This initiative, held in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, was inspired by the legacies of Late Mrs. S.E. Okolo and Late Hon. (Mrs.) E.T. Ibomo and is funded by their children. It has now supported 75 students in three years, breaking down financial barriers to education.

Speaking at the awards ceremony, Mr. Taritein Boco, Managing Director of Asfabeta Management Support Services and project organiser, emphasised the foundation’s commitment to doubling its impact each year.

The long-term goal is to support 15,400 beneficiaries by the tenth year, assisting students who are struggling to cover WAEC fees and administrative costs.

According to Mr. Uzochukwu Okolo, a representative of the SeedOfVictory Foundation, the scholarship program is designed specifically for students in financial need, assisting them in paying WAEC fees and other administrative expenses.
