Zulum Flags Off N11.5bn Construction Works In Maiduguri
Maiduguri, the Borno State capital is to have eight major roads and two bridges worth N11.5 billion as Governor Babagana Zulum, on Thursday flagged off construction works in the city.
A Chinese construction company, Eighteenth Engineering Company (EEC) and a Borno-based construction company, Obtuse Tech Engineering Company Limited, are to deliver the roads in one year in respect of contract awards recently signed after biddings and other processes were completed.
Zulum performed the flag-off around the popular Post Office Roundabout on Ahmadu Bello Way in Maiduguri, an occasion attended by the Deputy Governor, Umar Kadafur, the SSG, Usman Shuwa, State APC Chairman, Ali Dalori, commissioners, other top government officials, site engineers, and other technical persons.
