Obi Mourns Death Of Labour Party Representative Hon. Adams
Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s Presidential candidate in the 2023 general election, is saddened by the death of Hon. Ekene Abubakar Adams, a Labour Party Legislator in the House of Representatives.
The LP standards bearer wrote on his X handle on Tuesday, “I am deeply saddened by the death of Hon. Ekene Abubakar Adams, a Labour Party member of the House of Representatives from Kaduna State.
“My sincere condolences go out to his wife, family, and loved ones. His untimely death at the age of 39 is a tragic loss for the nation.
In a press statement by Yunusa Tanko, POMR Spokesman, Obi wrote: “As Chairman of the House Committee on Sports and Representative of the Chikun/Kajuru Federal Constituency, Hon. Adams has already made significant contributions to the development of sports in Nigeria during his brief tenure. His enthusiasm and expertise in this area will be sorely missed.
“May God Almighty, who called him home at this time, forgive his sins and grant him eternal rest, and give his family and all of us the strength to bear his sad irreplaceable loss.
