Police Rescue Two Fire Victims In Anambra
The Police in Anambra State on Friday rescued two victims from a fire outbreak in Onitsha, the state’s commercial city at about 10 am.
Information released by the Police Public Relations Officer DSP Ikenga Tochukwu Anthony explained that Police Operatives rescued two victims of a fire incident at UBA Bank, opposite Ejison plaza main market, Onitsha.
The statement further disclosed that preliminary information revealed the fire incident emanated from the heat in the generator inside the bank. The situation however made customers scamper for safety and in the process, some of the windows and doors were destroyed.
According to the statement, the fire has been put off and the situation is being monitored.
