Dalung Foundation Demands Apology Over NNPP’s Unauthorised Use Of Name
The National President of Rescue Nigeria Youths Solomon Dalung Foundation, Comrade Stephen Navy, on Friday, condemned the unauthorised use of the founder, Hon. Solomon Dalung’s name by the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) chairman and his team.
Comrade Navy in a statement made available to Daily Independent frowned at the alleged dubious inclusion of Hon. Dalung’s name by the NNPP chairman and members of his team on the party’s National Working Committee.
He said, “This is disrespectful to Rescue Nigeria Youths Solomon Dalung Foundation for the unauthorised inclusion of our founder’s name on a National Working Committee of NNPP without consent or due consultations.
“This is a bad political gimmick, politicking and desperation on the part of NNPP and their members. We demand an apology from the chairman of NNPP and his team.
“This development is not only strange but also embarrassing to our leader, Hon Solomon Dalung. He is not aware, privy, or part of such political development.
“Also, those involved should apologise for dragging my boss into their 2023 power permutations, if they have a conscience.
“I know the only time my leader supported presidential aspirants from the Southern extraction was his position that aspirants must not be above 60 years of age.
“This is because Hon. Dalung believed in fairness, equity, justice, peace and unity to zone power to Southern Nigeria, especially the youths in 2023.”
“Therefore, we demand a public apology from the National Chairman of NNPP. This is because, the inclusion of our leader’s name is fake and baseless,” he added.
