Group Warns Andy Uba, Others To Leave Soludo Alone

Anambra youths under the auspices of Youths Earnestly Support Soludo (YESS) have warned Sen. Andy Uba and other troublemakers to leave Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo alone and let him be because they believe Anambra people have decided and chosen who they prefer to govern them; that no politician will play politics with the destiny of Ndi-Anambra.

YESS gave the warning at a special occasion in Awka to mark the renaming of the organisation from Youths Earnestly Seek Soludo to Youths Earnestly Support Soludo (YESS).
Convener of YESS in Anambra state, Dr. Nelson Obinna Omenugha who spearheaded the special event, said any attempt to steal the people’s mandate through some obnoxious court processes will not happen because Professor Soludo has won the election with a very wide margin; that the entire exercise was a true reflection of the people’s choice.
Imenugha who described the outcome of the gubernatorial election as a clear metaphor and manifestation of what the people can do when they are united, also noted that Ndi-Anambra have made their choice in the person of Prof. Chukwuma Charles Soludo and that people who voted during the election made their statement loud and clear and defended their votes from scavengers.
He said YESS was ever ready and determined at any point in time to defend the mandate willingly bestowed on the former CBN governor by the people.
He therefore passionately called on those he referred to as troublemakers scheming to undo what the people have unanimously done to desist forthwith from such clandestine moves because he believes that Anambra is not Imo state.
The YESS convener who narrowly escaped death during the electioneering campaigns, stressed that Anambra people have made their choice and that the likes of Sen. Andy Uba and other power thirsty politicians should be able to respect the decision of the people.
He said, ” The decision of Ndi-Anambra is that for the next four years Professor Soludo has been entrusted with the destiny of Ndi-Anambra to pilot their affairs and therefore God has made it permanent and not even their grand plan will work. ”
