Tinubu’s Policies To Boost Zamfara, Nigeria’s Economy, Says Matawalle
The Minister of State for Defence, Dr. Bello Mohammad Matawalle, has lauded President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration for its significant economic support to Zamfara State and Nigeria. During a five-day visit to his home state, Matawalle, a former Zamfara governor, praised President Tinubu’s unprecedented financial commitment to local governments and state governments.
“No previous administration has shown such strong support for local councils and states as President Tinubu,” Matawalle stated. He highlighted the President’s grassroots mobilization efforts and substantial funding allocated to these levels of government, enabling impactful development projects.
While addressing a large gathering of supporters, Matawalle urged the All Progressives Congress (APC) members in Zamfara to work collaboratively with party leaders to regain lost political ground from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). He emphasized the importance of maintaining law and order, reassuring supporters of the federal government’s commitment to combating banditry and terrorism in the region.
“With the federal government’s initiatives, we will soon experience a renewed sense of safety and peace,” Matawalle affirmed, urging continued support for the government at all levels to restore peace and order across the nation. The Minister’s visit comes amid ongoing efforts to address the security challenges facing Zamfara State.
