Air Peace Boss, Onyema, Says Tinubu’s Policy Reforms Stabilising Businesses In Nigeria
Dr. Allen Onyema, Chairman of Air Peace Airlines, believes President Bola Tinubu’s policy reforms will help to stabilise Nigerian businesses.
Onyema said this in Abuja on Thursday during a meeting with Tinubu at the State House, explaining that the President has made significant progress in the aviation industry’s ease of doing business initiative.
He said that this has ensured that the current administration will stabilise the sector with the new reforms introduced by Mr. Festus Keyamo, Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development.
He did, however, acknowledge that the economy is currently facing some challenges, but emphasised that the reforms would benefit the entire nation in the long run.
Onyema insisted that his policy reforms were restructuring the country, and he encouraged Nigerians to support the government, as well as indigenous investments and investors.
“The president is a businessman, and his policies are aimed at stabilising businesses, but people are unaware of this. Some of us in business understand what the President is trying to do. What he is attempting to do is a true restructuring of the country.
“Many Nigerians believe that restructuring means dividing the country along regional lines, but what Tinubu is doing is true restructuring by changing how we do things in the country for a better long-term outcome.”
During a media interview in Lagos last week, Onyema praised the Federal Government, particularly Tinubu’s administration, for its support of Nigerian carriers.
