Matawalle Returns To Sokoto, Vows To Crush Banditry, Kidnapping

Dr. Bello Muhammed Matawalle, Minister of State for Defence, has returned to Sokoto State for the second time in two months, demonstrating his unwavering commitment to security.

This visit, a direct directive from President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, aims to reinforce efforts in stamping out banditry, kidnapping, and other criminal activities plaguing the region.

The Minister’s visit follows the successful deployment of Operation “Fansan Yamma”, which has seen significant gains in the fight against banditry in the Northwest.
