Pay Stemco Their Money Or Else I Inflict Sickness You Can Not Cure, Prophet Ikuru Threatens Gov. Bassey Eno
Prophet Godwin Ikuru of the Jehovah Eye Salvation Ministry has chastised Akwa Ibom State Governor Bassey Eno for refusing to pay N7.5 billion owed by the state to Stemco Ltd for road construction projects completed from 2012 to 2015.
The prophet described the governor’s behaviour as insensitive, vicious, and wicked.
“How come you claim to be a pastor while being insensitive and wicked to people’s plights?
“Over 4000 employees at Stemco have been rendered financially handicapped, homeless, and worthless.” Today, I received word that one of the employees had died due to inability to pay for medical care.
“The government has made this company poor because it borrowed money to carry out your Akwa Ibom project, which you have refused to pay.
“It is obvious you are not a man of God. I want you to pay them that money within seven days, or I will pray and God will torment you, diagnose you with a disease that has no cure, and you will know that God’s power truly exists,” Prophet Ikuru emphasised.
He chastised Governor Eno for claiming that the project was not completed by his administration. The project was completed for the Akwa Ibom state government, and it makes no difference which regime was in charge because it is a state project. Refusing to pay shows that he is callous and wicked.”
