Tinubu Swears In Walson-Jack As Substantive Head Of Service Of The Federation
President Bola Tinubu has sworn in the Federation’s new Head of Civil Service, Didi Esther Walson-Jack.
The swearing-in ceremony, which preceded the Federal Executive Council meeting on Monday, took place in the Council Chambers of the State House Abuja.
President Tinubu approved Walson-Jack’s appointment as Head of the Federation’s Civil Service on July 17, 2024.
She previously served as the Federal Ministry of Education’s permanent secretary.
She was appointed Federal Permanent Secretary in 2017 and has worked in several ministries.
According to an earlier statement from the presidency, Walson-Jack will succeed Dr. Folasade Yemi-Esan, the former Head of the Federation’s Civil Service, who is set to retire on August 13, 2024.
