Nigerians have been called upon to ensure they collect their Permanent Voter’s Card(PVC) in readiness for the general elections coming up next month and in March so that they can elect Labour Party and other candidates of their choice.

Senior Pastor of Awaiting The Second Coming Of Christ Ministry, Adewale Giwa urged them to use their PVCs to vote out the ruling All Progressives Congress(APC) from power.

Addressing his members in Akure on Sunday, Giwa also blamed the religious leaders for not working on the path of righteousness to tell Nigerians to vote out the APC that has inflicted hardship on the people.

He charged the Independent National Electoral Commission(INEC) to live up to its promise in conducting credible and transparent elections.

The cleric said: “God can never be happy with anyone supporting evil; I refuse to align with some men of God who cannot call ‘a spade a spade’.

“Please, get your PVCs and vote out the APC that has inflicted hardship on you. Vote out the party that never fulfilled one of its electioneering promises since 2015.

“Look at what they have turned Nigeria into. They got to power on deceit and lies. They promised us that we would buy a litre of petrol below N100, now is above N300 while the product is not even available.

“The former President Goodluck Jonathan left the pump price of petroleum from N67 to N97. Oh God, it shall never be well with the devil.

“Let me warn you again that if you make mistakes again, God will never be happy with you. I know we have competent hands that can perform better than these present crop of politicians.

“Stop relying on prayers, but swing into action by refusing their money and vote them out. Food prices have increased astronomically under the current party.

“If you know that you have a solution to the challenges facing Nigeria, why didn’t you sell it to your party over the years? You can not fool me, no, I refuse to be fooled.

“I want to appeal to INEC to also fulfill its promise to conduct a credible and transparent election. They should not allow themselves to be used by selfish politicians to thwart the will of the people.”
