A member of the House of Representatives from Iseyin/Itesiwaju/Kajola/Iwajowa Federal Constituency, Oyo State, Hon. Shina Peller, has challenged the famous Nigerian artiste, David Adedeji Adeleke aka DAVIDO, to leverage on his popularity to influence Nigerian youths to partake in the country’s electoral process.
Peller made this known while congratulating the famous artiste on his 29th birthday via his social media handles.
Peller, who described Davido as one of the most influential people in Africa, urged him to ride on his influence and acceptability to appeal to the minds of the youths to get involved in nation-building right from their immediate communities.
The post read: “Birthday shoutout to my brother, King David as I fondly call @davido.
“I celebrate you on the occasion of your birthday. You’ve grown to be one of the most influential people in Africa. You have proven to the world that leadership is not a matter of age.
“The mantra “we rise by lifting others” shows how magnanimous you are. I encourage you to continue to do good for humanity. Never stop.
“Importantly, channel the attention and creativity of this generation to nation-building. Let them understand the essence/ significance of partaking in the nation’s electorate process. Only then, can the Nigeria we all yearn for become a reality.
“May you live long King David and continue to break new grounds. I hope to see you in politics soonest. Happy birthday, King.”
