Rinsola Abiola Celebrates Despite Dumping APC
Rinsola Abiola is the daughter of Nigeria’s martyr of democracy, Chief M.K.O. Abiola.
She recently switched from the All Progressives Congress (APC) to ADP and some say she is naive for making that audacious move.
However, Rinsola Abiola, a former Special Assistant on New Media to the Speaker, House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, is only a young woman who is fighting for the right of the people just like her father did in his lifetime.
As she celebrated her birthday some days back, Rinsola is making brave steps in the faint memory of her father.
She was very young when he passed on. However, she always looked forward to the anniversary of his passage in those early years.
Rinsola is a certified public relations practitioner and government relations specialist, with work experience in the public, private and non-profit sectors.
She is also an IVLP alumnus and member of the advisory board of the World Youth Movement for Democracy. She also has many awards and recognitions too numerous to mention, just as she was chosen in 2019 by UN Women as one of the 25 young Nigerian women to carry on advocacy regarding actualising objectives outlined in the Beijing Platform for Action (BPfA.)
