Over 500 Candidates Sit For Al-Ma’arif College of Health Sciences and Technology Aptitude Test
In preparation to offer admissions into various programmes, Al-Ma’afrif College of Health Sciences and Technology, Potiskum in Yobe State has on Saturday conducted aptitude test examination for over 500 candidates wishing to get admitted into the College programmes.
Addressing the invigilators prior to the commencement of the exams, the Chairman Board of Directors of the College, Sheikh Dr. Ibrahim Abdullahi Sani Rijiyan Lemo urged the invigilators not to compromise standards of avoiding any form of examination malpractice to order to have better students admitted into the College programmes.
According to him, cheating is a very bad culture that is capable of ruining the society “I assure all the candidates seeking for admission into our college programmes that we will be just, transparent and honest in treating their scripts irrespective of any tribal, religious or any inclinations”.
Also speaking, the Provost of the College, Dr. Hamza Garba also urged the invigilators to adhere strictly to examination ethics for proper admission exercise.
On his part, the Registrar of the College who is also the Vice Chairman Board of Directors, Usman Alhaji Saleh pointed out that their admission is highly regulated, “lets all maintain standard and merit, we are determined to offer admissions into the College programmes based on merit. We therefore urge you to watch the sitting arrangements to ensure proper spacing.
The examination was successfully conducted amidst of strictness which ended 11:45am and the candidates left accordingly to their respective destinations.
