ENDBADGOVERNMENT: Police Fail To Silence Protesters With Tear Gas As Youths Stand Firm In Eagle Square
A determined group of #ENDBADGOVERNMENT protesters gathered in Eagle Square on Thursday morning, defying a court order to protest at Moshood Abiola National Stadium instead.
Despite initial attempts at dialogue, police used tear gas to disperse the crowd, but protesters persisted, singing, waving flags and holding placards.
Despite the tear gas, they continued to demonstrate, exercising their right to peaceful assembly and expression.
Meanwhile, another group of protesters gathered at the designated stadium, remaining peaceful and resolute.
The two protests highlight the ongoing public discontent and the people’s determination to have their voices heard.
