NCPC Felicitates With Muslims At Eid-el-Kabir Celebrations
Bishop Stephen Adegbite, Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC), congratulated Muslims on this year’s Eid-el-Kabir celebrations.
Bishop Adegbite in a statement, he praised Nigerian Muslims for their sacrifice and obedience to God’s will, encouraging them to follow Prophet Muhammed’s teachings and embrace interfaith harmony.
He encouraged them to pray for Nigeria’s peace and prosperity, pointing out that peace is necessary for development. Bishop Adegbite also urged Muslims to support the government and security agencies in their efforts to combat crime, as well as to pray for the President’s health so that he can carry out his Renewed Hope Agenda.
He assured that the current economic downturn would soon pass as the government worked to alleviate its effects on the people.
BIshop Adegbite urged imams and clergy to continue praying for the country and its leaders to reap the benefits of democracy.
