Gov. Otti Names Abia State University Visitation Panel

Governor of Abia State, Dr. Alex Otti, has given his official approval for the creation of a comprehensive Visitation Panel dedicated to the Abia State University, Uturu.

The panel is expected to thoroughly assess the state of affairs at the university, including its academic, administrative, and financial operations.

The move is aimed at ensuring that the university is performing optimally and meeting the educational needs of its students, as well as contributing to the overall development of the state.

The membership of the Panel is as follows:

2. Prof. Rose Nwabueze
3. Prof. Mrs. Abiola Awosika-Fapetu
4. Dr. Sonny Ajala, SAN
5. Prof. Ngozi Osarenren
6. Prof. Nnenna Oyidie Okeh

8. Dr. Confidence Ogbonna
9. Mr. Dodoh Okafor, Secretary

The panel will be formally inaugurated by the Governor on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at the Banquet Hall, Government House, Umuahia, by 12 noon Prompt.
