Chief Eze Chukwuemeka Eze, a prominent All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain and former National Publicity Secretary of the defunct nPDP, has launched a scathing attack on Daniel Bwala, Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Policy Communication for unfair criticism of Peter Obi.

Eze described Bwala as aa “traitor” who readily stabs his benefactors in the back for personal gain.

Eze, who previously worked alongside Bwala in the APC Legacy Projects Media Team, expressed little surprise at Bwala’s recent criticisms of Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s presidential candidate in the 2023 elections.

He attributed Bwala’s behaviour to a desperate attempt to gain relevance within the Tinubu administration.

“I have previously worked with that young man in the APC Legacy Media Project, and during that period, I found him bereft of conscience and sane mind.

” He was more of a man under demonic spell,” Eze stated, accusing Bwala of “sycophancy, moral bankruptcy and abnormality.”

Eze highlighted Bwala’s previous affiliations, noting his jump from the APC Legacy Media Team to the media train of Atiku Abubakar, the PDP’s presidential candidate.

He argued that Bwala’s subsequent switch to the Tinubu media team, after previously criticizing the President, was driven by a desire for a ministerial appointment.

Addressing Bwala’s recent attack on Peter Obi, Eze labelled him a “skit maker, begging for followership.”

He defended Obi as a significant figure in Nigeria’s political transformation, stating that Obi’s achievements “eluded Bwala’s great grandfather and lineage.”

Eze specifically refuted Bwala’s claims that Obi is a “failed politician” who misunderstands democracy. He argued that Bwala’s comments were “height of mediocrity, insanity and stupidity.”

He also questioned the state of democracy under President Tinubu, citing the alleged unconstitutional declaration of a state of emergency in Rivers State.

“If Obi does not know the meaning of democracy, what then will Bwala say of his paymaster, who has resorted to personalize democratic power through systemic manipulation of the judiciary, and brazen violation of the Constitution of Nigeria,” Eze queried.

Eze urged Bwala to “call himself to order” and to consider Obi’s concerns about the state of Nigeria’s judiciary.

He maintained that under President Tinubu, “democracy has been raped, collapsed and bastardized.”
