“His advocacy helped to establish the NDDC, an interventionist agency tasked with facilitating the rapid development of the Niger Delta region,” Ogbuku explained.

He also recognised Clark’s leadership of the Pan Niger Delta Forum (PANDEF), an important socio-cultural organisation that brings together the region’s various ethnic groups.

The NDDC MD also described Clark’s death as the loss of a “guiding light,” praising his wisdom and courage.

He described the late leader as a true patriot and an outspoken advocate for justice.
