Bandits Attack Enugu School, Kill One, Injure Others
Thursday was a dark day in Enugu State when bandits attacked St Paul’s College, Eke, in the state’s Udi Local Government Area, murdering a female student and injuring many others.
According to reports, the robbers, who are thought to be Fulani herdsmen, also shot at and injured many students who are being treated in local hospitals.
A gruesome video depicting the victim’s lifeless body as well as some of the attack’s survivors is circulating online, with a voice saying, “Fulani herdsmen attacked our students, they were going home after school; one of them was shot dead; four students were shot, one died instantly; they have done enough.
“See the body of the little student they murdered; this one is comatose, and we are praying that God would keep her alive; she had four bullet wounds.
“This was done by Fulanis working on Eke-Egede Road; these are the ones that survived; the government should come to our aid. Our location is now a death zone.”
