Mukaila Odutola Odusanya, often known as Oga Landlord, has soared to new heights in the real estate sector through a remarkable path of unrelenting drive and a commitment to helping others.
His outstanding contributions to individual and social development earned him the renowned Nelson Mandela Leadership Award for Excellence and Integrity from the West Africa Youth Council of ECOWAS (Economic Community of West African States).
Mukaila’s life story exemplifies the power of perseverance, ambition, and grabbing opportunities. Born and reared in Lagos, his childhood was distinguished by a dogged determination to excel and a strong thirst for knowledge. He saw that education was the key to a better future. But, lacking financial resources, he pursued his dreams in an unexpected manner.
Mukaila initially worked as a security guard, aiming to earn enough money to pay for his studies. However, his meager earnings from this work were insufficient to support his educational fees. Mukaila, undeterred by setbacks, relocated to Port Harcourt to live with his younger brother, where he discovered a business potential in the mobile phone industry.
He led Mukaila to His Royal Highness, King Chike Bobby Ogbonda of Evo Kingdom, Ikwere, Port Harcourt, Rivers State, who provided Mukaila a space to operate my company in a strategic location on his land at the famed Woji Junction. He began earning money with the assistance and was eventually able to enroll as a part-time student at Rivers State University of Science and Technology.
During his time at university, Mukaila met a mentor who saw his promise and offered him a position on an oil rig, giving him the financial support he needed to finish his studies. His perseverance paid off when he graduated and relocated to Lagos to work in marketing at the Villa Angelia Hotel on Victoria Island.
Even with the employment, making ends meet was difficult. During this time, Mukaila decided to augment his income by using a car he had purchased while working for an oil business in Port Harcourt and offered Uber services, shuttling hotel clients to the airport.
However, Mukaila’s life changed when he and a close buddy came upon a real estate flyer while attending a camp. Both had an interest in real estate and wanted to pursue it, which led them to network marketing with PWAN Group, Nigeria’s top real estate network marketing and development conglomerate.
Mukaila was immediately captivated by the possibilities of the company. He became a partner and attended PWAN’s free seminars and training, where he heard inspiring stories of people whose lives had been altered by real estate network marketing. PWAN Group provided him with real estate training and certification.
This instilled in him a sense of optimism and determination, and he vowed to establish a better life for himself. Mukaila stayed steadfast despite the initial obstacles. He produced sales, attracted like-minded others, and began making large commissions.
His hard work and dedication earned him the position of Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of PWAN Lekki Business Concerns Limited, a successful affiliate of PWAN Group. PWAN Lekki has grown under his leadership, creating 12 estates in Lagos and beyond, including Abakaliki, Ebonyi State, Uyo, Akwa-Ibom State, and Asaba, Delta State. Buckingham Court, PWAN Lekki’s flagship project in Asaba, Delta State, has received praise for providing citizens with the option to buy, build, and move in immediately. Irede Estate is another PWAN Lekki flagship estate. Under the PWAN Group banner, PWAN Lekki has become a beacon of progress and prosperity.
Mukaila’s incredible journey from humble beginnings to prominence in the real estate market is an inspiration. His tenacity and perseverance, together with the guidance of PWAN Group’s founders, Dr. Augustine and Dr. Jayne Onwumere, have enabled him to achieve great things.
No surprise that the West Africa Youth Council of ECOWAS appointed Mukaila Odutola Odusanya as a WEST AFRICAN YOUTH AMBASSADOR and honored him with the prestigious Nelson Mandela Leadership Award of Excellence and Integrity for his illustrious antecedent of hard work, diligence, and commendable works as an advocate and relentless crusader for African youth development.
This honour recognises his exceptional contributions to the development of both individuals and society. Similarly, he received the Golden Role Model Award from the Nigeria Youth Advocacy for Good Governance Initiative.
Mukaila’s story inspires countless others who are fighting for success despite all challenges, and his appointment as a West African Youth Ambassador is well-deserved.
His life story demonstrates that individuals with resilience, ambition, and a commitment to enabling others can have a big impact on society and inspire a better future for everybody.
Mukaila’s influence, however, extends far beyond his personal accomplishments. His commitment to developing young people through real estate possibilities exemplifies the industry’s good impact on society.
PWAN Group aggressively addresses Nigeria’s housing deficit, and its network marketing approach equips young people with the tools and expertise they need to succeed in the real estate industry.
