“He’s the number one marketer of Innoson,” Chief Chukwuma said of Dr. Otti. “Most of the vehicles bought by the government in this state (Abia) are Innoson vehicles and they are happy with the vehicles.”

He thanked Governor Otti for his continuous support and patronage and added that his company is in discussions with officials from the Abia State Government about establishing a maintenance center in Abia for vehicle service and repairs.

According to Kazie Uko, the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, the foremost Nigerian indigenous automaker also wants to make Abia the hub for the conversion of petrol and diesel engine cars to compressed natural gas (CNG) user engines.

Chief Chukwuma revealed that Governor Otti had ordered 20 security pick-up vans from his company, which the government desperately needed, but he was unable to supply them at the time because they had exhausted their stock, forcing the government to obtain the vehicles from another source.
