Nwosu on his historic appointment as the 11th and first black President of the State University of New York at Oswego.

Dr. Nwosu’s inauguration on September 27th is a historic moment for the 163-year-old institution, as he becomes the first African-born president and immigrant to lead SUNY Oswego.

Obi, a well-known education advocate, emphasised Dr. Nwosu’s passion and commitment to the advancement of education in society.
