ThisDAY Alumni Mourn Loss Of Max Amuchie’s Mother, Lolo Angela Amuchie
The ThisDAY Alumni Association (TAA) mourns the death of Lolo Angela Ihuoma Amuchie, the mother of TAA member Max Amuchie. Lolo Amuchie died peacefully on Sunday, March 9, 2025.
Sunny Hughes, Director of Publicity for the TAA, made the announcement today, which comes as a devastating blow, especially since Max is currently preparing for his late father, Chief Emmanuel I. Amuchie, whose funeral is scheduled for April 25.
Lolo Amuchie was a well-regarded member of her community, known for her unwavering faith and kindness.
Her influence in the Ahiara Catholic Diocese and as a beloved Ezinne of CKC Catholic Church, Oze-Urban, Uvuru, Mbaise, Imo State, extended well beyond her immediate family.
“This is an extremely difficult time for Max and his family,” Hughes explained. “Losing both parents in such close succession is unimaginable.
“We urge the entire TAA family to offer their thoughts and prayers, providing the love and support they require during this time of great grief.”
The TAA is asking members to remember Max and his family in their prayers and to contact them if they want to offer personal support. Max can be reached at +234 803 308 3361.
Details about Lolo Angela Amuchie’s funeral arrangements will be provided as they become available.
The TAA sends its heartfelt condolences to the Amuchie family in this time of great sorrow. May Lolo Angela’s soul find eternal peace.
