Tinubu To Swear In Seven New Ministers Today, Monday
ABUJA, NIGERIA – President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is set to swear in seven new ministers today, Monday.
The ceremony will be held at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, at before the Ex of meeting.
The newly confirmed ministers were cleared by the Senate last week after a rigorous screening process.
They are:
Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda: Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction
Muhammadu Maigari Dingyadi: Minister of Labour & Employment
Bianca Odinaka Odumegwu-Ojukwu: Minister of State for Foreign Affairs
Dr. Jumoke Oduwole: Minister of Industry, Trade, and Investment (Trade and Investment)
Idi Mukhtar Maiha: Minister of Livestock Development
Yusuf Abdullahi Ata: Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development
Dr. Suwaiba Said Ahmad: Minister of State for Education
The appointment of these ministers is seen as a crucial step in President Tinubu’s efforts to address key challenges facing the nation, including poverty reduction, job creation, and improved infrastructure.
Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda, a respected academic and former gubernatorial candidate, is expected to bring his expertise in poverty reduction and humanitarian affairs to the Ministry.
Muhammadu Maigari Dingyadi, a seasoned politician and former Minister of Police Affairs, is expected to leverage his experience to tackle unemployment and improve working conditions in the country.
Bianca Odinaka Odumegwu-Ojukwu, renowned for her diplomatic skills and advocacy, is anticipated to play a significant role in promoting Nigeria’s interests on the global stage.

Idi Mukhtar Maiha, a renowned livestock expert, is tasked with modernising the livestock industry and enhancing food security.
Yusuf Abdullahi Ata, with his experience in urban planning and development, is expected to focus on improving housing infrastructure and urban development.
Dr. Suwaiba Said Ahmad, a prominent academic and advocate for education, is expected to champion the improvement of quality education in Nigeria.
