ABUJA – The Nigeria Police Force is investigating an incident involving Hon. Alex Ikwecheghi, a member of the House of Representatives representing Aba North and Aba South, and a Bolt driver.

The alleged assault took place on October 27th, 2024, at the lawmaker’s residence in Maitama, Abuja.

The victim, Mr. Stephen Abuwatseya, reported the incident to the Maitama Divisional Headquarters.

According to the Police statement, the FCT Command is currently handling the case.
