Sallah: Obi Urges Muslims To Draw Strength From Prophet Ibrahim’s Teachings On Sacrifice
Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s Presidential Candidate for the 2023 election, has urged Nigerian Muslims to draw strength from Prophet Ibrahim’s teachings amidst the country’s hardship and suffering.
According to Dr. Yunusa Tanko, POMR Spokesman, Obi said in a message of felicitation to Muslims on the occasion of Sallah, “My dear Muslim brothers and sisters, as we gather to celebrate Eid-al-Adha, the feast of sacrifice, I want to extend my warmest wishes to you all.”
“May this Sallah bring us all closer to Allah, one another, and our full potential as individuals and a nation.
“In the midst of challenges and uncertainties, let us draw strength from our faith and the teachings of the Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him).”
“His unwavering faith in Allah, courage, and willingness to sacrifice for the greater good are sources of inspiration for all of us.
“As we celebrate, let us aim to be a source of hope, comfort, and support for those around us.
“May Allah accept our prayers, fasting, and charity, and grant us the wisdom to follow in His footsteps, the courage to stand up for what is right, and the grace to be a blessing in our communities.
