Stakeholders Applaud Soludo for Massive Road Infrastructure.

Stakeholders in Anambra state have praised Governor Chukwuma Soludo for launching massive road infrastructure projects in the state.

They praised Soludo after he commissioned a 12-kilometer road in Okpoko, Ogbaru Local Government Area, Anambra State.

Among the stakeholders were the Ogilisi Igbo, Chief Rommy Ezeonwuka; the Speaker of Anambra State House of Assembly, Hon. Somtochukwu Udeze; the Chairman of the Ogbaru Local Government Transition Committee, Hon. Pascal Aniegbunam; and the member representing the Ogbaru 1 state constituency in the State House of Assembly, Hon. Noble Igwe.

Others included Chief Ndubuiisi Ochiogu, President of the Ogbarru Main Market Traders Association; Chief Raphael Agu (aka Commodore), former Secretary-General of the Okpoko Development Union; Zeribe Ezeanuna, a Chieftain of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA; Chief Nnamdi Ezesinachi, Patron of the Ogbaru Main Market; and Monsignor Theophilus Odukwe, Parsh Priest of St Lwanga’s Catholic Church in Okpoko.

Speaking at the ceremony, Ezeonwuka, Udeze, Aniegbunam, Igwe, Ochiogu, Agu, Ezeanuna, Ezesinachi, and Odukwe stated that they were confident from the start that Soludo would perform admirably as Governor and that his performance thus far would undoubtedly earn him a second term in office during the state’s 2025 governorship election.

They urged Soludo to put in more effort to achieve rapid state transformation, to consider all sectors as critical, and, most importantly, to ensure a crime-free Anambra state.

Earlier, during the commissioning ceremony, Soludo promised to build more roads, hospitals, and infrastructure, particularly in the Okpoko slum, to turn it into a New Haven.

According to Soludo, “You are ecstatic because I am building roads here in Okpoko, but just wait and see what happens in the next few years because you have not seen anything yet.” By the time I finish Anambra State, you will understand what I am made of.”
