“NDDC will form partnerships with specialists to put finishing touches on what is already in place for proper services. We will be unable to handle that aspect, which is why we will employ people with international experience to run the facility.”

In a statement issued on Friday by Pius Ughakpoteni, NDDC’s Director Corporate Affairs, Ogbuku stated that the completion of the hospital is appropriate given the inherent dangers of cardiovascular diseases and the prevalence of accidents, emphasising that the current NDDC Board will put an end to the problem of abandoned projects in the Niger Delta region.
