Tems, DJ Spinall To Perform At Coachella 2024
It is another historic moment for Afrobeats, featuring two of Nigeria’s most well-known and Grammy-winning singers.
In 2024, DJ Spinall, the disc jockey, and Temilade Openiyi, better known by his stage name Tems, will play at the prestigious Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.
In a release issued on Tuesday, the festival’s organisers stated that it will take place in Indio, California’s famous Empire Polo Grounds from April 12 to April 21.

A performance is scheduled for the last weekend of the festival.
The 2024 edition’s main performers are Doja Cat, Tyler The Creator, and Lana Del Rey. Additionally, Tyla, Peso Pluma, J Balvin, and Lil.
A few names that come to mind are Lil Yachty, DJ Snake, Jon Baptiste, Ice Spice, Uzi Vert, and Skepta.
2020 saw Tems become well-known throughout the world thanks to her partnership with Wizkid on the song “Essence.”
The singer received her first-ever Grammy award in February 2023.
for her part in Future’s 2022 hit song “Wait for U,” which features Drake.
Afrobeat sensation Burna Boy was the only Nigerian performer on the Coachella 2023 lineup.
The crowd was captivated by the Grammy-winning singer’s captivating performance of hits like “Alone,” “It is Plenty,” and “Killin Dem.”
