Bukki Obey’s Vision Gives Holistic Approach To Youth Development
Bukki Obey’s Catch Them Young Teenage Academy has launched its Makeup and other skills programme in an audacious bid to empower and nurture young talents.
The one-month pilot program, which ran prior to the start of school, attracted an amazing 25 youngsters, aged 7 to 19.
The Makeup Bootcamp not only marked the start of this transformative project, but it also demonstrated children’s enormous passion and interest in skill-building opportunities.
While the primary focus of the Catch ’em Young Academy is vocational skills, Bukki Obey and her team are deeply committed to instilling values of resilience, empathy, and a growth mindset in participants, resulting in well-rounded individuals who can positively impact their communities.
The Summer Makeup Bootcamp, as the academy’s first excursion, set the tone for what was to come. It taught participants not only how to apply makeup but also life skills that are necessary for personal growth and success.
“We believe in nurturing the whole person, not just teaching a trade,” explains Bukki Obey. “Our goal is to empower these young minds to become confident, compassionate, and forward-thinking individuals who can make a positive difference in their communities and beyond.”
The Catch ’em Young Teenage Academy is poised to be a powerful force in adolescent development, creating tomorrow’s leaders via a holistic strategy that blends vocational training and character development.
As it expands, the school is poised to have a long-term impact on the lives of many young people, equipping them with the skills they need to shine brilliantly in their chosen fields and be constructive agents for change in their communities.
