Nigeria Does Not Begin, End In Lagos, Keyamo Speaks On EndSARS
Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Festus Keyamo (SAN) is confident that the #EndSARS protest of October 2020 will not have any effect on the 2023 presidential election.
Speaking with DAILY INDEPENDENT, Keyamo who is the official spokesperson of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council fie the 2023 presidential election said it is not all Nigerian youths who participated in the EndSARS protest.
According to him, while some youths in Lagos are protesting, calling for the scrapping of Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS), some other youths especially in the Northern part of the country also held rallies asking for SARS to stay.
He said “It is not all the youths that we had at the EndSARSprotest, it is only a section of the youths. Some youths also opposed them too”.
” Can’t you remember some youths opposed them? So, it is plus minus. Infact, some youths in the North they marched that they want SARS. Have you forgotten?”
“So when you talk of youths, youths does not end in Lagos. You people should always get out of Lagos. Nigeria is not Lagos” he said.
