Zeetin Partner Hydropolis To Industrialise Nigeria
Nigeria’s tech and precision engineering company, Zeetin Engineering Limited, is partnering with Hydropolis Investment Limited to build the Hydropolis industrial park at Kainji, Niger State, as part of collaborative efforts to industrialise the country.
This was revealed during a visit to the Zeetin factory in Abuja by the management of Hydropolis, a subsidiary of Mainstream Energy Solutions, and operators of the Kainji Hydro Dam.
As part of its investment, Hydropolis is commencing a Free Trade Zone one-stop industrial park to house about 200 industries, including an international airport, a luxury living city, and forest reserves that will also drive tourism development in Nigeria.
Founder/CEO of Zeetin Engineering, Azibaola Robert, in a statement, stated during the visit that only strategic partnerships between technology-driven Nigerian companies could accelerate the pace of infrastructural development in the nation.
Robert said, “Nigeria’s infrastructural development can easily be fast-tracked when our companies, especially those that are technology-driven, collaborate strategically for the overall infrastructural development and growth of Nigeria.
“That is what we are doing here at Zeetin. We are providing pioneer engineering solutions to Nigeria for the overall development of the country. This will spur several other Nigerians and companies to follow suit, and before you know, Nigeria will emerge as a technologically advanced country to reckon with.”
Speaking after a tour of the Zeetin factory, the Project Co-ordinator, Hydropolis Investment Limited, Abdulmalik Ndagi, who led the visit, expressed satisfaction with Zeetin’s capacity to provide the technology backup for the building of the industrial park and spares production for the various industries located in the park.
He said that Zeetin and Hydropolis would work out modalities to enable the two companies to work together and succeed in achieving the Hydropolis projects to place the country on a sound industrial footing.
Ndagi further said, “What we have come to see in Zeetin has overtaken our own plan. We need to work out modalities on how we can work with Zeetin to replicate this factory in our industrial park.
“This will help us bring down the cost of our project which will also enable us to accomplish it faster in the interest of Nigeria. The machines you have here (at Zeetin) are far, far beyond what we envisaged and they will be of great benefit to us. So, there’s definitely a need for us to have collaboration with Zeetin.”
