In a statement released on Thursday, SIDEC emphasized the urgent need for all candidates, particularly those from the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) and the All Progressives Congress (APC), to avoid making inflammatory statements that could escalate tensions in the political climate.
SIDEC urged political actors in Anambra State to refrain from using hate speech and spreading disinformation or fake news before, during, and after the Anambra gubernatorial election in November 2025.
