Zero Tolerance For Corruption: Minister Orders Full Investigation Into NCoS Bribery Allegations
In a decisive move against corruption, the Minister of Interior, Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, has ordered a comprehensive and unconditional investigation into allegations of bribery and corruption within the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS).
The Minister’s directive comes as a strong statement against any form of indiscipline or unprofessionalism within the paramilitary services under his ministry’s purview.
“The Ministry will not tolerate any compromise on its core values of integrity, transparency, and accountability,” declared Hon. Tunji-Ojo.
“We will leave no stone unturned in rooting out corruption and ensuring that those found culpable face the full wrath of the law.”
The investigation will be led by a special team headed by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Interior, Dr. Magdalene Ajani.
This team will conduct a thorough probe into the allegations and submit a comprehensive report to the Minister.
