It is good news for Nigerian sanitation! The Federal Government has designated eight more Local Government Areas (LGAs) as Open Defecation Free (ODF), bringing the total number of ODF LGAs to 134 nationwide.

The NTGS, a collaborative effort involving government agencies, development partners, NGOs, and the media, convened in Abuja on September 18th to assess the progress of these local governments.
