The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) recently discovered a clandestine laboratory in Ikeja, Lagos state, which was used to produce methamphetamine.
The anti-narcotics agency’s officers found sachets of the drug and precursor chemicals used in its production.

The officers seized one kilogram of methamphetamine, as well as quantities of precursor chemicals and other items used for production.

The NDLEA is working to apprehend the owner of the house, who fled. In addition, the NDLEA arrested several suspects in the past week, including those in possession of skunk, tramadol, cannabis sativa, and diazepam.

The NDLEA seized these illicit substances and arrested the suspects in various states, including Lagos, Benue, Edo, Ondo, Kebbi, and Osun.

The Chairman/Chief Executive of NDLEA, Brig. Gen. Buba Marwa (rtd), commended the officers and men of the MMIA, Lagos, Imo, Kebbi, Osun, Benue, Edo, and Ondo Commands for their seizures and arrests and urged them to remain vigilant and focused on the agency’s corporate goal.
