Abia First Lady Guarantees Quick Restoration Of Rescued Child Factory Victims
Abia State First Lady, Mrs. Priscilla Otti, has guaranteed that a suitable move is being made to restore the victims safeguarded from a child factory situated at Umunkpeyi, Nvosi, in Isialangwa South LGA.
Mrs. Otti gave the assurance Tuesday when she paid an unscheduled visit to the young girls at Madonna College of Health Technology, Olokoro, Umuahia, where they are being taken care of.
The spouse of the Governor, who expressed sadness and disillusionment over the episode, portrayed the development as grievous, adding, notwithstanding, that the administration was giving consideration briefly to the baby factory casualties.
She lamented that such a sad demonstration was being done in the State and guaranteed that administration would collaborate with noble cause homes, places of worship, and different partners to give vital help to the want of little kids and youngsters in the State, who are being exploited.
Speaking earlier, while receiving the wife of the Governor to the college, the Provost, Madonna College of Health Technology, Olokoro, Rev. Fr. Christian Anokwuru narrated that the Girls were brought to the facility following their rescue by the State government a few days ago.
He unveiled that the young ladies numbering around 20 are pregnant, and have gone through fundamental clinical trials to decide their wellbeing status.
Two suspects were captured in association with the revolting turn of events.
