NDDC At Cruising Altitude, Ogbuku Declares At Thanksgiving

The Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Dr. Samuel Ogbuku, has declared that the Commission is now cruising at a high altitude with God’s blessings.

Speaking during the Annual Thanksgiving Service at the NDDC Event Centre in Port Harcourt, Ogbuku noted that the multiple awards of excellence bestowed upon the Commission this year obligate them to exert even greater effort in 2026.

According to Seledi Thompson-Wakama, Director of Corporate Affairs, he encouraged the staff to embrace the culture of thanksgiving to attract more blessings from God, acknowledging that the Almighty Father has been faithful and merciful to the NDDC.

Ogbuku emphasized the importance of thanksgiving and “glorifying the Lord for guiding and protecting the Commission and its workforce in its activities.”

The NDDC Chief Executive Officer stated that thanksgiving is a vital way to seek the face of God, noting that showing gratitude, even amidst challenges, will bring about a positive turnaround.

He maintained that under his leadership, the NDDC Management would continue to work in harmony with staff, soliciting further support to enable the Board and Management to achieve their targeted goals.

In his exhortations, the Rivers Regional Pastor of the Redeemed Christian Church, Pastor Remi Odebode, remarked that the NDDC has discovered the “secret of greatness and success, which is locked in thanksgiving.”

The cleric stated that God’s blessings will follow the NDDC and its leadership because they continue to revere the Almighty Father through thanksgiving.

The NDDC Executive Director, Finance and Administration, Alabo Boma Iyaye, reiterated that the Commission will never tire of giving thanks to God for its numerous blessings and favors.

Earlier in his opening remarks, the Director of Administration and Human Resources, Mr. Patrick Ekade, thanked God for the successes the NDDC has recorded over the years.

Also speaking, the NDDC Fellowship Pastor, Mr. Sabbath Udoma, observed that God has answered the prayers of the staff by providing the Commission with good leadership.
