Taraba’s 2025 Budget: A Blueprint For Growth, Development, Says Governor’s Aide
Jalingo, Taraba State – The 2025 budget estimates for Taraba State signal a significant commitment to the state’s overall growth and development, according to Emmanuel Bello, Special Adviser (Media and Digital Communications) to Governor Agbu Kefas.
Bello, speaking to journalists, described the budget as a historic document reflecting Governor Kefas’s dedication to policy implementation, particularly in education, job creation, and security.
Bello highlighted the budget’s clear focus and strategic direction, stating, “A budget reveals an administration’s priorities.
This 2025 budget showcases a Governor serious about good governance. It’s a recipe for monumental transformation.”
He lauded the Governor’s prioritization of the education sector, emphasizing the continued commitment to free education.
“Governor Kefas believes in an educated citizenry. Free and compulsory education is a cornerstone of his administration, and next year will see further transformative initiatives in this sector,” Bello explained.
Security and job creation were also cited as top priorities for the coming year. Bello noted the administration’s significant efforts to improve security in the state, a commitment reflected in increased budgetary allocation.
“Governor Kefas, with his military background, understands the importance of security.
Improved security fosters investment and job creation, particularly within the agricultural sector,” he added, expressing optimism about the positive impact of the budget.
The increased emphasis on security, he said, is expected to unlock further opportunities for growth and development across the state.
