Maiduguri, Borno State – In a heartwarming show of solidarity, Seyi Tinubu, President Bola Tinubu’s son, led a youth-led initiative to provide immediate relief to Borno State’s flood-affected communities. Mr. Tinubu visited Maiduguri over the weekend with his brother Yinka, friends, and associates, and made a significant donation of over N500 million.

This visit was the first step in a larger effort to help young people affected by the devastating flood. Mr Tinubu, who is well-known for his philanthropic efforts, particularly those aimed at youth empowerment, emphasised the importance of collective action in alleviating the disaster’s impact. He assured the people of Borno State, particularly those in Maiduguri, that this intervention was only the beginning, and that ongoing assistance would be provided until the region recovered.
