Nollywood’s Yetunde Barnabas Celebrates Son’s Birthday: A Miracle Born Of Prayer, Love
Nollywood actress Yetunde Barnabas is radiating with joy as she celebrates the one-month milestone of her beloved son. Sharing a series of heartwarming family photographs on her Instagram page, the actress affectionately described her little one as a testament to their answered prayers, confessing a love that transcends mere words.
The light-skinned star expressed her sheer wonder at the swift passage of time, marveling at a full month spent embracing and cherishing her son. She candidly recounted the past few weeks as a whirlwind of sleepless nights, overwhelming emotions, fervent prayers, and profound gratitude, all underscored by an immeasurable depth of love.
“Happy One Month, my Gianni,” she penned, her voice resonating with emotion. “You are our answered prayer. I love you in a way that words will never fully capture, my sunshine. I can’t believe it’s been one whole month of having and loving you, my son Shine.”
Yetunde continued to pour out her heart, articulating her deepest hopes and aspirations for her child. “This past month has been filled with sleepless nights, overwhelming emotions, deep prayers, and endless gratitude, but most of all, it’s been filled with love.
“We pray over you every day for strength, for purpose, for peac,e and for joy. May you grow in wisdom, in grace, and in favour. The world is better because you’re here, Omo mi,” she declared.
In a subsequent post, Barnabas shared another poignant reflection, highlighting the everyday miracles of her son’s presence.
“Watching you breathe, stretch, cry, smile in your sleep, it’s a miracle I’ll never take for granted. Happy one Month, my Son Shine,” she wrote, her words a testament to the profound bond they share.
This joyous occasion follows Kemi Filani’s report last month announcing the birth of her second child, a baby boy. At the time, she shared touching photos of herself, her husband, and their newborn, declaring their “miracle has been born.”
In the wake of this happy news, fellow actress Bakare Zainab shared glimpses of a surprise baby shower organized by friends, with notable attendees including Afeez Owo, Bakare Zainab, Seiilat, and Omowunmi Ajiboye.
A week after his arrival, Barnabas and her husband honored their son with an 8-day celebration, graced by personalities such as Fausat Balogun, Ijebu, and Tawa Ajisefinni with her husband.
During the maternity period, Yetunde had shared tender family-themed photos, expressing her gratitude that their prayers for more love had been answered with the arrival of their son.
The birth of her second child comes less than seven months after she publicly debunked rumors of another pregnancy, emphasizing the divine timing of God and encouraging those spreading speculation to focus on her acting career.
Reflecting on their journey, in June, Yetunde and her husband celebrated their fourth wedding anniversary, sharing loving family portraits and acknowledging that their union, which began with love, continues to thrive. Barnabas conveyed her unwavering conviction in meeting her husband and committing to a lifelong partnership.
