Bwala's Claims 'Utter Rubbish'

The Peter Obi Media Reach (POMR) has issued a blistering response to allegations made by barrister Daniel Bwala, who claimed that Mr. Obi had attempted to solicit his services.

The POMR dismissed the claims as “baseless accusations” and a demonstration of Bwala’s “well-documented history of dishonesty.”

Normally, the campaign team stated, they would not deign to respond to such “utter rubbish.” However, they felt compelled to address the matter to prevent the public from being misled.

In a strongly worded statement, the POMR emphasized that Peter Obi actively excludes individuals like Bwala from his political activities, branding them as proponents of “transactional politics.”

The team asserted that Mr. Obi would “rather allocate resources to provide desks for children in Bwala’s village than pay him to concoct falsehoods for public consumption.”

The campaign highlighted Mr. Obi’s commitment to good governance and a vision built on shared conviction, rather than financial inducement.

“He does not pay people to promote a cause; instead, he invites them to join him in believing in a shared vision,” the statement read.

The POMR urged those engaged in “transactional politics” to reconsider their actions, warning of the damage they inflict on Nigerian society and the future of its children.

They concluded with a pointed call to Bwala and others of his ilk to “count Peter Obi out of their greed, repent, and join us in the quest for a new Nigeria that is indeed POssible.”
