Odo-Nla Royal House Throws Weight Behind K1 De Ultimate For Awujale Throne
The Oba-elect of Odo-Nla Kingdom, Ikorodu, Lagos State, HRM Olusoga Elias Adeyemi Olowolekomoh, Fuwagbade IV, has publicly declared his unwavering support for renowned Fuji maestro, Otunba Wasiu Ayinde Omogbolahan Adewale Anifowoshe, widely known as K1 De Ultimate, as the preferred candidate for the forthcoming Awujale of Ijebu-Ode.
Speaking on behalf of the Fidipote (Fidipotemole) Ruling House Descendants, Oba-elect Olowolekomoh emphasized the deep-seated ancestral connections that unite both royal lineages.
He traced these bonds back to the historic Fidipote Royal Dynasty of Idewon Quarters, Ijebu-Ode, the same ancestral stream from which his own forefathers, notably Oba Odeyemi Adeesho Ademuyewo ‘Ofiran’ – the progenitor of the Odo-Nla Kingdom – emerged.
“It is with a profound sense of heritage, unity, and a lifelong brotherhood that I extend my full and unequivocal support to Otunba Wasiu Ayinde Omogbolahan Adewale Anifowoshe,” stated Olowolekomoh in a formal statement issued from Odo-Nla.
He asserted that the globally celebrated Fuji star is eminently qualified to ascend the throne of the paramount ruler of the Ijebu people.
“Beyond his global legacy as a cultural icon, he remains a proud son of our shared Fidipote Royal House,” Olowolekomoh added.
“Our bond spans decades – both at home and abroad – and it is a distinct privilege to stand with him as our unanimously chosen candidate for the revered stool of Awujale of Ijebu-Ode.”
The news of K1 De Ultimate’s aspiration for the Awujale throne gained further traction as he formally signified his intention to join the race on Thursday.
In a letter addressed to the Fasengbuwa Ruling House, the family eligible to present candidates, the Fuji star meticulously traced his lineage to the dynasty, underscoring his qualification for the vacant stool. He then followed this with a public declaration on Friday.
An excerpt from a letter originating from the Fidipotemole Royal Dynasty, situated in the Idewon Quarters of Ijebu Ode, Ogun State, left no room for ambiguity regarding their endorsement of K1 De Ultimate’s ambition.
The statement unequivocally declared: “We present with one voice, Otunba Wasiu Ayinde Omogbolahan Adewale Anifowoshe, MON, (Olori Omoba Akile Ijebu – K1 De Ultimate) as our unanimously chosen candidate for the next Awujale of Ijebu-Ode Kingdom.”
The Fidipotemole (Fidipote Ruling House) comprises descendants of Oba Odeyemi Adeesho Ademuyewo, also known as ‘Ofiran,’ who are the progenitors of the Odo-Nla Kingdom in Ikorodu.
This esteemed lineage, known as the Omoba Mẹ́tà Royal Family, is currently under the leadership of Oba-Elect Olusoga Elias Adeyemi Olowolekomoh, Fuwagbade IV, of the Odo-Nla Kingdom, Ikorodu, Lagos State.
The unified backing from this prominent royal house signifies a significant endorsement for K1 De Ultimate’s bid to become the next Awujale of Ijebu-Ode.
