NEDC Boosts NEGF Operations With Essential Office Equipment Donation
The North East Development Commission (NEDC) has stepped up its support for the North East Governors’ Forum (NEGF) with a significant donation of office equipment.
The donation, made Wednesday at the NEDC headquarters in Maiduguri, included air conditioning systems, laptop computers, an industrial printer, and paper shredding machines.
Mohammed Alkali, NEDC’s Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, presented the equipment to the Director General of the North East Governors’ Forum, Alh. Umar Gulani.
This donation is intended to improve the operational efficiency of the NEGF’s coordinating office in Maiduguri, the Borno State capital.
“We had previously donated a vehicle to the North East Governor’s Forum,” Alkali said at the handover ceremony.
“This time, we are providing these office equipment to help them perform their duties effectively.”
The donation demonstrates the NEDC’s commitment to supporting the NEGF in its critical role of coordinating development initiatives throughout the North East region.
The new equipment is expected to significantly improve the Forum’s administrative capabilities, resulting in more efficient regional governance.
