Presidential Amnesty Programme Head Lauds Tinubu’s Leadership in Nigeria-South Africa Bi-National Commission
Cape Town, South Africa The Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP), Dr. Dennis Otuaro, has praised President Bola Tinubu’s leadership.
He made the commendation at the recently concluded 11th Session of the Nigeria-South Africa Bi-National Commission (BNC).
Otuaro, who led a PAP delegation to the Cape Town meeting, highlighted Tinubu’s effective leadership in guiding the Nigerian delegation and fostering strong bilateral relations with South Africa.
Otuaro specifically commended Tinubu for his collaboration with South African President Cyril Ramaphosa, describing the president’s commitment as unwavering.
He expressed confidence that the resulting Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two nations will yield significant mutual benefits in various economic and political spheres.
A key aspect of Otuaro’s praise focused on the inclusion of the PAP within the framework of the agreement.
He stated that the MoU will streamline the training of Niger Delta youths, particularly in education and commercial aviation, significantly boosting the PAP’s objectives.
This, he added, aligns with President Tinubu’s “Renewed Hope” agenda, promoting sustainable peace, security, and socio-economic development in the Niger Delta region.
“I applaud His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for providing quality leadership at the 11th session of the Nigeria-South Africa Bi-National Commission,” Otuaro stated.
He emphasized the president’s effective leadership in guiding the delegation and securing beneficial outcomes in the bilateral negotiations.
Otuaro expressed gratitude for the PAP’s inclusion in the MoU, stating that it will provide vital opportunities for Niger Delta youth training in commercial aviation and other trade areas.
Otuaro concluded by characterising the president’s actions as a reflection of his strong support for the PAP and his deep commitment to the people of the Niger Delta.
