Federal Fire Service Releases Final Recruitment List

Abuja, Nigeria – The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire, and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) announced Saturday the release of the long-awaited final list of successful candidates for the Federal Fire Service (FFS) recruitment exercise.

Ja’afaru Ahmed, Secretary of the CDCFIB, announced in a statement that the names of successful applicants are now available on the Board’s website.

Candidates should visit the website cdcfib.career beginning Monday, December 9th, 2024, to check their status and print their invitation letters.

The recruitment process, which began in late 2023, has been completed with the release of the final list.

Mr Ahmed emphasised the importance of checking the portal for individual results, stating that only successful applicants’ names would be listed.

Successful candidates will then be asked to participate in a final documentation exercise.

This will take place from December 9th to December 21st, 2024, at the Lt. Gen. Abdulrahman Bello Dambazau Conference Centre, Nigerian Correctional Service National Headquarters in Abuja.

Attendees are asked to wear white tops and shorts and bring original and photocopied credentials.

Mr. Ahmed advised applicants to strictly adhere to the dates and instructions specified in their invitation letters.

The list’s release marks the end of a lengthy recruitment process, bringing months of anticipation to prospective firefighters across the country.

The successful candidates are expected to start their training and service soon after.
