PrimeTech Design And Engineering Boosts Abuja School With CSR Initiative
Abuja, Nigeria – PrimeTech Design and Engineering Nigeria Limited, a subsidiary of Julius Berger Nigeria Plc, recently demonstrated its commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) with a significant donation to LEA Primary School, Karmo, Sabo 11, Angauwa Hausawa, in the FCT Abuja.
The initiative included classroom renovations and the provision of books, study materials, and mosquito nets.
The donation was met with overwhelming gratitude from the school community.
Head Teacher Mr Jonathan Auta and his assistant, Mrs Victoria Hassan Jonathan, expressed their sincere appreciation, describing the event as “a great day” and highlighting their surprise and joy at the generosity.
A student, Caleb, also voiced the pupils’ thanks for the renovated classrooms and expressed their hopes for the company’s continued success.
Julius Berger’s Head of Corporate Communication, James Agama, emphasized the company’s excitement in supporting the school and praised the teachers for their dedication to the large number of students under their care.
He expressed hope that the improved learning environment would benefit the children and hinted at future collaborative opportunities.
PrimeTech’s representatives also addressed the students. Markus Klotz, Technical Adviser-MEP, expressed his hope that the children would enjoy the donations.
Finance Manager Mustapha Abubakar delivered a career talk, encouraging the pupils to consider engineering as a future career path, emphasizing the importance of hard work and education.
Architect Oluwateniola Sonuga also spoke, encouraging the students to pursue careers in architecture and engineering.
Abubakar further explained PrimeTech’s CSR philosophy, stating that the initiative reflects the company’s commitment to giving back to the communities where it operates.
He highlighted the renovations and additional gifts as a demonstration of the company’s care and appreciation for the school.
The event was attended by several PrimeTech employees, including Markus Klotz, Engr. Osazuwa Linda, Oluwateniola Sonuga, Mustapha Abubakar, Calista Akuabata Bousra, Aboyi Peace Adiya, and Michael Ashiofor, alongside Julius Berger representatives James Agama and Happiness Moses.
PrimeTech’s commitment to providing reliable and innovative solutions for construction is complemented by its dedication to uplifting the communities it serves, solidifying its position as a responsible corporate citizen.
