Jigawa Youth Group Dismisses Allegations Against Defence Minister Badaru
A youth group in Jigawa State, Nigeria, has vehemently refuted recent allegations leveled against the Minister ofç Defence, Muhammad Badaru Abubakar, dismissing them as baseless and politically motivated.
In a press release issued today by Public Analyst Al-Amin Aliu, the Jigawa Youth Agenda stated that the accusations, originating from a purported APC youth group, are designed to sow discord within the ruling party.
Aliu highlighted that the group making the allegations is not officially recognised by the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Jigawa State, suggesting a deliberate attempt to undermine Minister Badaru’s reputation.
The Jigawa Youth Agenda expressed its unwavering support for the Minister, citing his significant contributions to both Jigawa State and Nigeria as a whole.
The release detailed several key achievements attributed to Minister Badaru, including: strengthening national security through enhanced military capabilities; forging crucial international defence partnerships; implementing youth empowerment programs focused on education, employment, and entrepreneurship in Jigawa State; and promoting unity within the APC.
“The so-called APC Youth Group’s allegations are a blatant attempt to create division,” Aliu stated.
“We urge APC members and the public to disregard these unfounded claims and focus on strengthening party unity and ideals.”
The Jigawa Youth Agenda emphasised Minister Badaru’s transformative tenure as Governor of Jigawa State and his ongoing commitment to the Tinubu administration.
They concluded by urging Nigerians to recognise his achievements and support his efforts in building a more secure and prosperous nation.
The group reaffirmed its complete confidence in Minister Badaru’s leadership and integrity.
